Tatarstanians are invited to participate in the III International Photo Contest "Russian Civilization"

The Federal Agency for Nationalities announces the launch of the III International Photo Contest "Russian Civilization".

The contest  is held within the framework of the state program of the Russian Federation “Implementation of the state national policy”. Its goal is to promote the harmonization of interethnic relations and the ethno-cultural development of the peoples of Russia. Last year more than 3 thousand people from 44 countries of the world took part in it, who sent over 17 thousand photographic works.

Until September 8, participants must submit up to 5 photos taken not earlier than 2014. You can upload original images on the official website: www.ruscivilization.ru.

The creative competition is held in the following nominations: “Unique Nature”, “Persons and Generations”, “Traditions of a Large Country”, “Architecture and Sculpture”. This year, the organizers announced a new nomination - “Multinational Moscow”. It will reflect the bright diversity of cultures and traditions of the peoples of Russia living in the capital.

The photos will be judged by a jury composed of well-known professional photographers, artists, journalists and public figures at the invitation of the head of the FADN of Russia, chairman of the jury of the competition Igor Barinov.

The winners will be awarded in the autumn of 2019 at one of the most popular exhibition venues in Moscow. As before, the best work can be seen on the streets of the capital.

“Every year the international photo contest becomes bigger. This is proof that he is in demand, they are waiting for him. I am glad to see the great desire of the inhabitants of our country, our compatriots abroad, foreigners who are in love with Russia, to show how they see Russian civilization, ”said Igor Barinov, head of the FADN of Russia, chairman of the jury of the photo contest.
