Tatarstan Opera and Ballet Theatre concludes season with concert version of Turandot

Over the season, 99,789 people have visited the theatre.
The Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre today concludes the 73th season with the premiere of a concert version of Turandot. The cast includes Ukraine National Opera principals Oksana Kramareva (Turandot) and Sergei Kovnir (Timur), Mariin Theatre principal Ahmed Agadi (Kalaf), and others.
Renat Salavatov is the conductor.
In the season’s 298 days, the opera and ballet theatre’s opera and ballet companies have given a total of 256 performances, 110 of them in Kazan.
A total of 144 shows have in the period been presented abroad, in the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Norway, Denmark and Switzerland. The plays have been Aida, The Magic Flute, Nabucco, Swan Lake, The Futile Precaution, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, a Night at the Opera gala concert and others.
A total of 99,789 people have visited in the theatre. the theatre has over the year earned 42,833,975 roubles, which is nearly 15 percent more a year earlier.
The 74th season will be opened on 23 September with the premiere of Turandot, directed by Mikhail Panjavidze. Tickets are available, the theatre’s press service has said.
