Easter festival and maestro Valery Gergiev again in Kazan

April 29 (Monday) in the State Grand Concert Hall named after S. Saydashev concerts of the XVIII Moscow Easter Festival (artistic director - Valery Gergiev) will be held. The opening ceremony of the festival was held on April 28, on the day of Easter, in Moscow. Already today, the artists of the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra and maestro Valery Gergiev will arrive in Kazan, where they  give 2 concerts (beginning at 15.00 and 17.00).

The program of this Easter Festival is dedicated to the Year of Theater in the Russian Federation, the 175th anniversary of the birth of N.Rimsky-Korsakov and the 180th anniversary of the birth of M.Musorgsky. Outstanding contemporary musicians take part in the festival concerts.
