Kamalovers have opened the Year of the Theater

December 13, on the stage of the Atninsky State Drama Theater after G. Tukay the solemn opening ceremony of the Year of the Theater took place. The ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The first number of the holiday was an excerpt from the legendary play “Blue Shawl”. The author of the script and the director of the event was director of TSAT  after  G.Kamal    Ilgiz Zayniev, and  hosts were  the actors of the Kamal Theater, Honored Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan Ramil Vaziev and Alsou Kayumova.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasized that the republic has a powerful potential in the field of theatrical development. There are educational institutions for training of specialists, the material and technical base of theaters is being strengthened, and various measures are being implemented to support and develop theatrical art. In total, Tatarstan has 15 state and 3 municipal theaters, as well as several private theater projects.
