The winners in prose, poetry, essays and translations were awarded with tablet computers, « Small Library», a book of memoirs by  the jury members  «Who said that we are adults?» and an almanac of the prize. The most valuable prize for the participants was a week of literary and creative workshops - members of the jury shared with the participants the secrets of literary skill.

According to the results of the master classes, the jury members determined the winners and holders of the Grand Prix.

In 2018, over 600 schoolchildren from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, 56 regions of Russia and 27 regions of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the award.

On October 8, the jury determined the “Long List” of the 100 best authors, which included children from Ukraine, from 23 regions of Russia and 21 regions of Tatarstan.

On October 22, the Short List of Award was determined, which included 6 applicants in each nomination.

Participants and members of the jury of the award shared their impressions of the competition and master classes.

“I have been a member of the jury of the Independent Literary Prize“ Glagolitsa ”for the fifth year. This is a rare festival, which is arranged with great love. I rarely saw such things, so I'm just happy. Wonderful children, great master classes. A child studies here and receives a lot from teachers and it is easier for him to write later. ”

Viktor Lunin, jury member, children's poet, writer, translator

“The Glagolita Award is organized perfectly. Many participants from different regions of Russia. I am glad that the competition is bilingual. In the final wonderful children with great potential have been gathered. The literary prize is not a sporting event. Here, the main thing is not victory, but communication with peers and writers. Those who are not among the winners, let them not be upset. Participation in the finals of the literary award "Glagolitsa" - this is already a victory. "

Robert Minnullin, jury member, people's poet of Tatarstan

“The master classes were very interesting, they worked with us both in translation and in art. We analyzed our work, it helped me a lot. Now I know where to go next in my translations. ”

Diana Khurmatullina, laureate in the nomination “Artistic translations from French, English, German and Tatar into Russian”
