At the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan Interregional festival “Native Land” will be held

At the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan on December 15 and December 16, 2018, the festival “Native Land” will be held.

It bears social, ecological and cultural character. The main objectives of the festival are: the revival of folk traditions, the development in themselves and the people around them respect for their native environment. Popularization of a healthy lifestyle and the idea of creating ecological settlements consisting of ancestral estates, popularizing life in the countryside, uniting people of different nationalities and faiths through creative exchange (crafts, dancing, music, clothes) are the main tasks of the festival.

The festival program includes lectures and reports from environmental and economic experts. These days will be performances of folk groups and bards, workshops will be held (embroidery, beadwork, creation of folk costume, pottery, weaving from the vine, wood carving, painting gingerbread, nettle tow, making products from birch bark, knot batik - shibori , tapestry weaving, Gorodets painting on wood and others).

The fair will be able to purchase original products made using the technique of hand weaving, leather mosaic, painting on wood, embroidery, beadwork, jewelry, jewelry made of stone, leather, felt, wool.
