The II All-Russian Tournament of National Cultures and Folklore “The Soul of My People” will be held in Moscow

From January 8 to January 11, 2019, the II All-Russian Tournament of National Cultures and Folklore “The Soul of My People” will take place in Moscow. The main purpose of this event is a creative search for education of the younger generation. Through the impact of folk music, traditions, dances and rituals, songs and fairy tales on a person, we get an effective means of enriching spiritual culture in patriotic education, raising a patriotic person, instilling the ability to feel and effectively fight for our own people and be friends with representatives of other nations.

The All-Russian Tournament of National Cultures and Folklore “The Soul of My People” can help understanding and incorporate into a single cultural process new forms, genres and types of folk art. It can serve a talented, creative youth as a platform for further accomplishments and discoveries. In addition, it seems to us possible to direct the entire energy potential of such a similar holiday form to the solution of a specific socio-cultural problem. The culmination of the competition will be the presentation of the All-Russian award  "People’s" according to the version of the Joy of the Planet project for special achievements in the field of culture and art with the award of a special prize with the official symbols of the award, which is an honorary badge of the team, soloist, author, leader. The prize fund of the prize is 500,000 rubles.

To participate in the competition are invited: national (folk) professional and amateur creative teams of Russia, without age restrictions (vocals, choreography, folk instruments, artistic word, theatrical creativity, folk costume, fashion theater, fine arts and other areas).
