Today, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan has opened the exhibition "History of the Komsomol - the history of the country," dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Komsomol.
The very first visitors to the exhibition were Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin; chief of staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Asgat Safarov; Irada Ayupova, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan; head of the organizing committee, chairman of the ROO "Union of veterans of the Komsomol of the Republic of Tatarstan", the first secretary of the Tatar regional committee of the Komsomol in 1982-1984, Boris Leushin; head of the Republican center of student groups Vasily Islayev, as well as veterans of the Komsomol, representatives of modern youth organizations, schoolchildren and students, the general public.
“I am very pleased that such historical milestones take place in the development of our country. In the Komsomol organization, almost all successful young people at one time were members, worked, brought up and were becoming. I am grateful to our museum that it made this exhibition, ”said Farid Khayrullovich Mukhammetshin in his welcome speech.
The exposition tells about the creation of the Komsomol organization in the republic, the participation of Komsomol members on the fronts of the Civil and Great Patriotic Wars, their work on construction sites and virgin lands, the activities of Komsomol youth teams and student labor groups, the search youth movement, participants of international festivals of youth and students. The authentic posters of those times, the tunic and budenovka, the bloodied Komsomol card, the uniform of the special forces soldier are evidence of courage and heroism shown by the Komsomol members in defending the Fatherland.
Among the exhibits are the materials of one of the first Komsomol members H. Garber, as well as the collection of the Komsomol youth of the chemist G. Kamay, the poet-hero M. Jalil, the Tatar poet H. Taktash, the first pioneer leader, Director of the State Museum of the TASSR V. Dyakonov, Twice Hero Of the Soviet Union N. Stolyarov, Hero of Socialist Labor, drilling master M. Grin, apparatchits of the Orgsintez plant, Hero of Socialist Labor G. Zantimirova, first secretary of the Tatar Regional Committee of the Komsomol in 1963-1969. R. Belyaev and others.
Photographs of large construction projects, tools and overalls, memorial items and documents of famous stroyotryadovtsev Tatarstan testify to the labor feat of the Komsomol.
The exhibition also reflects the activities of modern youth organizations, including: the Young Guard of United Russia, the League of Students, Victory Volunteers, Snow Troopers, construction detachments.
The exhibition will run until November 24, 2018
