Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held in the Republic of Tatarstan

In the period from September 28 to 30, Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held in Tatarstan.

The bright and original culture of Uzbekistan, having formed over thousands of years, is a unique phenomenon, incorporating traditions and customs of different peoples: ancient Iranians, Greeks, nomadic Turkic tribes, Arabs, Chinese, Russian people. The traditions of multinational Uzbekistan are reflected in music, dance, painting, applied arts, language, cuisine and clothing.

September 29, the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Musa Jalil will host a solemn event dedicated to the opening of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The concert will feature guests from Uzbekistan - professional groups, leading soloists, artists of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan named after Navoi, dance ensemble "TUMOR". In the concert program - folk songs and dances, playing on national musical instruments, works by Russian, foreign and Uzbek composers. Also, in the foyer of the theater will be a photo exhibition "Modern Uzbekistan".

Irada Ayupova, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the official delegation from Uzbekistan under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Umidzhon Kukonboyev, diplomats, public figures, cultural and art figures will take part in the event.
