Animation film "Home" conquers international film festivals

Cartoon "Home" of the Kazan Animation Studio FILMFAY entered the program of the International Animated Film Festival BANJALUKA 2018 International Animated Film Festival, which will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from October 24 to October 28, 2018. The Banjaluka Festival is one of the most important animation film festivals in Europe. In addition to competitive shows, the film forum includes an international program, professional seminars and workshops, concerts, exhibitions and interactive street performances.

Cartoon "Home" - a joint project of Animation Studio "FILMFEY" and People's Artist of the Russian Federation Renat Ibragimov. More than 6000 frames were made of plasticine, 8 Kazan artists worked on the picture for a year. 4.5 minutes of the cartoon involve the viewer during the Great Patriotic War. Throughout the whole cartoon the train "Victory" rushes across the country and reunites soldiers with their loved ones. Renat Ibragimov performs the same song "Home".

Recently, the musical cartoon "Home" (directed by Daniil Fayzrakhmanov) won the "Best Animation Film" nomination for the "Break for Cinema" Film Festival. The award ceremony took place at the Lenfilm Film Studio in St. Petersburg on June 30. Within the framework of the film festival, the cartoon was shown in 11 European cities (Tallinn, Belgrade, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Dresden, Gdansk, Warsaw, Vilnius and Daugavpils, and the main event of the tour was the May 9 movie show in Berlin) and in more than 120 Russian cities . He also became the Best Animation Film at the 10th International Youth Film Festival, which took place in Kazan from September 3 to 6, 2018.
