Kazan hosted the eighth time the opera festival "Kazan Autumn"
Traditionally, on the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan, August 30 at 20:00, a concert of the VIII International Opera Festival under the open sky "Kazan Autumn" was held on the square near the Farmers' Palace. The festival is an integral part of the concert season of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted by Alexander Sladkovsky.
Soloists of the evening were soprano, soloist of "Helikon-Opera" Olga Tolkmith and leading baritone of the Bolshoi Theater Andrey Zhilikhovsky. Conductors - People's Artist of Russia, art director and chief conductor of RT SSO Alexander Sladkovsky, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasily Valitov.
In the concert evening, classical arias from the operas of Russian, German and Italian composers were performed: V. Mozart, J. Rossini, J. Bizet, G. Donizetti, G. Puccini, A. Dvorak, P. Tchaikovsky.
Within the framework of the festival "Kazan Autumn", September 15 at the State Grand Concert Hall after S. Saydashev will perform the People's Artist of Russia Hibla Gerzmava, and on October 17 the concert will be held with the participation of People's Artist of Azerbaijan Dinara Aliyeva.
