She taught in her native art school, the Kazan State Institute of Culture and the Tatar State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University.

Marina Samakaeva - participant in republican, Russian and international exhibitions, held a solo exhibition in Spain's Granada, repeatedly represented works at international auctions. Opening in "Khazine" exhibition - the first personal exhibition by  the artist in the halls of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The exhibition will feature about thirty paintings created by the artist in different periods of creativity.

The main theme of painting is MV. Samakayeva is her own world created by the artist's imagination: people, life classes and entertainments, holidays and various aspects of everyday life. These people and these worlds can emerge from anywhere: in Kazan or, like Brueghel's paintings, in a small Dutch village, in winter or summer, in a city or a village square … On the canvas, like a mosaic carpet, people's connections between themselves and nature: a naive kind image of everyday leisurely human life with its joys and sorrows, holidays and everyday life. An unreal, toy world returns to a fairy tale, which you want to read and re-read, each time finding in it some particular details of life. Hence the Maslenitsa, Sabantuy, Weddings, or simply the urban landscape of the old Kazan life with its cabs, horses and old steamships ... The world of Marina Samakayeva's paintings is a "patchwork" blanket of memories and nostalgia for the past, it evokes light feelings about something irretrievably lost in today's high-speed human life.

Marina V. Samakayeva was awarded a gold medal by the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. The artist's works are in the collection of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, private collections in France, Germany, Spain.

The exhibition will last until October 7, 2018.
