Eight students of the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov participate in the project "World and Music without Borders".
The project "World and Music without Borders" includes the session of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Volga Region (held since 2002) and the International Festival of Arts "Classic Open Fest" (held since 2010).
The session and the Festival take place from August 11 to September 7, 2018 in Togliatti.
This year a large staff is going to the session of the Youth Symphony Orchestra. This became possible thanks to the grant of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society provided by the Foundation for Presidential Grants.
One of the central themes of the project was the creative rehabilitation of musicians from zones with a complex geopolitical situation (local conflicts) - Donetsk (DNR), Lugansk (LNR) and Damascus (Syria).
On August 19, the world premiere of the symphonic suite-initiation Signum Spei ("Banner of Hope") is the result of the joint work of the Syrian author Mazen Issa and the Russian singer, composer and conductor Nikolai Managadze.
In the festival poster 10 concerts. Gala concerts of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Volga Region will be held in Tolyatti, Samara and Ulyanovsk within the framework of the "Open Fest Classic" festival.
Within the framework of the session of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Volga region for young musicians, master classes are planned.
