The opening of the All-Russian project "Meeting place with art" will take place in Zelenodolsk

July 13, 2018 in Zelenodolsk opens the All-Russian project "Meeting place with art." The educational initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the ROSIZO Museum and Exhibition Center has successfully taken place in 52 small and medium-sized cities of Russia (25 regions) and continues triumphant march across the country, this year encompassing 9 new regional destinations, including the city Zelenodolsk.

The task of the project "Meeting place with art" is to provide an opportunity to meet with art residents of remote corners of Russia who can not visit the country's leading museums due to geography, and where, due to the peculiarities of transportation and exhibiting, masterpieces of painting can not reach. Using the example of Soviet art to help residents of Russian towns learn to understand the works by artists, telling about their work in an accessible language.

Future professionals in the field of culture, students of the Institute of Fine Arts of Moscow State Pedagogical University act as consultants - conductors for the exhibition. They will conduct interactive excursions on materials prepared by ROSIZO specialists, daily will show video lectures recorded for the project by art historians of the Russian Museum to immerse the viewer in the socio-historical context of creating works.

Young participants of the project - teenagers 11-12 and 13-15 years old - again the interregional drawing competition "My picture says" is waiting.

The finalists will go to the thematic shifts to the International Children's Center "Artek", and the result of the competition will be an exhibition of winning projects in Moscow.
