The Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired opens a tactile exposition of architectural monuments of Tatarstan

June 20, at 13.00,  in the Republican Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired will be the opening of a tactile exhibition of architectural monuments of Tatarstan.

The creative team of the project -  specialists of the Republican Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired of the Republic of Tatarstan will present the project "Tatarstan Touchable" to the attention of the public.

As a result of the project, the exposition of 3D mock-ups of architectural monuments adapted from the number of the most popular and recognizable sights and symbols of Tatarstan has been  created: the Spasskaya Tower of the Kazan Kremlin, the Governor's Palace, the Süyumbike Tower, the Annunciation Cathedral, the Kul Sharif Mosque.

The event will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve, the Tatar regional organization of the All-Russian Society of the Blind, public organizations of the visually impaired, library readers and specialists, the general public.
