Rewarding of young artists in Yelabuga

On May 17, at the  Elabuga State Museum-Preserve, the winners of the XIV Republican Contest of the Young Artist "I Draw Like Shishkin" on the topic "My Happy World of Childhood" dedicated to the Decade of Childhood in Russia took place.

828 artworks from 29 settlements of the Republic of Tatarstan were submitted for the competition. These are drawings by  pupils of 42 art schools  and children's art studios.

On behalf of the general director of the museum-reserve Gulzada Rudenko, the participants of the ceremony were greeted by her deputy for research Alexander Degotkov. He said that all the works sent to the contest were rigorously selected by the jury, which included members of the Union of Artists of Russia and Tatarstan, honored artists of the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to the results of the work by the jury, 28 winners from 9 cities and towns of Tatarstan   have been were identified in different age categories.

The guys who won the first places were awarded with premiums of 5 thousand rubles, for the second place 3,000 rubles were given, for the third - 2 thousand rubles. The participant, who received the Grand Prix of the competition, was awarded a prize in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. The authors of the works, which received the diplomas of the laureates, were awarded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan: from June 13 to June 16, they will travel to Ulyanovsk and Bolgar, accompanied by the staff of the Elabuga Museum-Reserve.

Since 2011, the competition is supported by the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, a special prize from which this year received a pupil of the Children's Art School named after  M.H. Khairtdinov  the  city of Leninogorsk.

In addition, seven young artists received diplomas for creative debut and originality of compositional and imaginative thinking.
