First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Elvira Kamalova told a news conference at the Information Agency "Tatar-inform" about the cultural program during the FIFA World Cup -2018.

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the ANO "Directorate of Sports and Social Projects",  Executive Committee of Kazan has formed a plan for cultural events during the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Kazan, from June 14 to July 15, 2018.

"It's very important for us to embrace the diversity of genres," Elvira Kamalova said at the beginning of her speech, "these are concerts, theaters, museums and cinema." The cultural program is represented by a variety of styles and directions. " Participants of the planned events will be the best professional creative forces of the republic and invited collectives and soloists.

"The plan for the cultural program of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Kazan (hereinafter - the cultural program) includes: about 30 concert programs, including 7 music festivals; 33 performances in 4 leading theaters of Kazan - Tatar State Academic Theatre named after G.Kamal, TASTOiB named after M.Jalil, KABDT    after V. Kachalov, TSTD and K named after K.Tinchurin, as well as performances in Kazan theaters - KSTYS and TGTYS named after G. Kariev, TGTP "Ekiyat"; 10 new exhibition projects; 12 permanent stationary exhibitions; 15 film screenings in the open air format at 2 venues; 4 general cultural projects; an exhibition of products of folk and art crafts, as well as library and film events, "the speaker said.

The concerts of the State Symphonic Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan will feature Denis Matsuev, Alexander Zinger, Andrei Ivanov, Polina Osetinskaya, Dmitry Maslenev, Cesar Alvarez, Ekaterina Mechetina, Philip Kopatchevsky as part of the VIII International Festival named after S. Rakhmaninov "White Lilac".

The First Deputy Minister of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elvira Kamalova detailed on the two festivals on the Tatar State philharmonic society named after Gabdulla Tukay. This is a big festival "All flags come to visit us" and "Blossoming Tatarstan". Hibla Gerzmava, Daniil Kramer, Nani Bregvadze, Mariam Merabova, Andrei Kondakov, Alexey Silyagin and others will perform before Kazan residents and guests of the capital.

The concert of the VII International Festival of Sacred Music "Music of Faith" will take place on the territory of the Kazan Kremlin. The event will be attended by the State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan, the orchestra of the Youth Theater in Bulak, the folk instruments orchestra "Kazan Nury" and soloists.

Participants of the Second Festival "The Kremlin Confederation of ART" will be the Youth Electroacoustic Orchestra of Pianists Sforzando, the group "Tatarsis", the collectives of the creative group Yammy Music, Nikolai Popov and others.

Igor Butman, Ivan Farmakovskiy (Russia-USA), Vadim Eilenkrig, Oleg Akkuratov will perform at the Kazan Live International Festival of Contemporary Culture.
