Festival of art and architecture "A-FEST". Architects of all countries, unite!
The 1st International Festival of Art and Architecture "A-FEST" started at the cultural and educational center "ETNOMIR". It will last until September 22. The park will bring together talented architects, sculptors and designers who are ready to implement their bold creative ideas.
All summer at the "ETNOMIR" sites will work for creation of art objects dedicated to the preservation of the culture of the peoples of the world in the era of globalization. Each object is a work of modern art, speaking in a universal language that everyone understands. Participants of the festival will have to rethink the symbols of the architectural heritage of the peoples of the world and give their own artistic interpretation of the given theme.
The idea of the Festival is also aimed at developing environmental solutions, which is in tune with the concept of the park. The "ETNOMIR" is a multifunctional platform, which from year to year works to improve its own infrastructure and keeps the dynamics of construction of new facilities on its territory. And, of course, after work of this scale there remains a certain amount of unused building materials. They will be offered to the participants of the festival for creating their architectural structures, within the framework of the "zero waste" ecological program operating in the "ETNOMIR".
The organizers tried to make the event interesting not only for the participants, but also for all guests of the park "ETNOMIR". For them, there will be demonstration of master-shows on creation of art objects, interactive lectures on modern design, master-classes on decorating, musical concert programs and, of course, an exhibition of unique small architectural works made by the participants of the festival. In addition, guests of the park will have the opportunity not only to join a multifaceted world of art, but also to determine the winner in the category "Audience Award", the results of which will be announced at the end of June 2018!
