April 14 and 15, the cinema "Mir" with the support of the Republic of Tatarstan Ministry of Culture will host a retrospective screening of films - winners of the VI -VII International Film Festival "Cinema without Barriers" on lives of people with disabilities. The guest of the event will be a writer, musician, director, screenwriter, public figure Vladimir Rudak. His film "Pineapple", included in the program, will be the starting point for discussion.
The purpose of the event: to remove barriers to real life and to motivate people with disabilities to succeed, and a healthy society of compassion and a willingness to take a person with disabilities as equal citizens.
The program will feature screenings of films of different genres, events for children and parents, creative meetings, discussions, presentations of groups involved in inclusive creativity.
The initiators of the event are the non-profit organization City Center of Education, University of Management "TISBI" and Directorate "Time of Cinema".
