In Kazan, the opening of the All-Russian Educational Forum "The Time of Cinema" took place
The All-Russian Forum "The Time of Cinema" was held at the Cultural-Leisure Complex named after V.I. Lenin, which started from the new section "KinoProfi". Within the framework of the section, lectures, reviews and master classes on film professions were held.
A series of master classes were conducted by: Kazan director Rustam Rashitov, project generator "Kinolife" Airat Gabdrakhmanov, producer and director Timur Sadykov, costume designer Anna Nevzorova and director of "FilmFay" studio Daniil Fayzrakhmanov. Speakers told the forum participants about the stages of work on filming, the features of the equipment on the sites and the artistic selection of costumes.
At the forum presentations of film schools "Point of Cinema", "Junior Life", "Black and White", "Sulevia", "Uni Gold", and Nizhnekamsk Film School under the MBU "SOSH No. 2" and "Nur" from Arsk took place. Their participants are young guys aged 3 to 18 years.
The audience was shown the best short films of school leavers, each of which touched on the most important social problems of modern society. Within the framework of the section the results of the contest from MTS and RFG ("Russian Film Group") under the "Generation M" project were summed up. The winners were the participants of the film school "Uni Gold". They were awarded diplomas and memorable prizes.
Also, the representative of the film studio "Russian Film Group" Natalia Egorova thanked the entire team of the festival "The Time of Cinema" and thanked Director of the Forum "The Time of Cinema" Albina Nafigova.
The work of the section was completed by the movie of the winner of the pitching of 2017 by Elena Ryabtseva "Yuman". The viewer was shown a story related to the Chuvash legend about the "boat of death". The director of the film told about the technical difficulties during the shooting. In particular, how difficult it was to find traditional Chuvash clothes; as she had to spend the night in the middle of a pond on three boats to catch the successful shots of dawn and sunset; and also about how blossoming apple trees waited for shooting one single scene, and they would never blossomed. After the film, Elena Ryabtseva answered the questions of the hall, which concerned the budget of the film, its technical organization, and also why she decided to devote herself to the cinema. "I can not live without this business! When I do not shoot - I'm sad, there is emptiness inside me. I need to collect people and do something. I'm sick of cinema from the age of 12! "- summed up the guest.
Today on the basis of the Kazan State Institute of Culture there is a section "Screenplay". On the basis of the Kazan Federal University - section "GENERATION: PIAR, PROMOTION, PROVOKACTION".
On March 30 at the site of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, pitching of film projects will take place. Authoritative producers, screenwriters and directors of the film industry, as well as head of the Financial and Production Department of the Federal Fund for Social and Economic Support of the National Cinematography (Cinema Foundation) Vadim Potapov, head of the cinematography sector of the Ministry of Culture and Science of the Russian Federation, will take part in the expert commission of the All-Russian pitching of debutants, organized by the Youth Center of the Union of Russian Cinematographers, Chief of section of Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Liya Gilmutdinova, Executive Director of the Youth Center of the Union of Cinematographers Dmitry Yakunin, chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildar Yagafarov. Later, the winners of the 3rd Open Republican Screenings Competition, established by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, will be awarded.
On the same day, the master-class by the program's editor on cinema (First Channel) Marina Kobleva "Cinema and film product: new formats and new cinema realities" will be held.
March 31 at 13.00, the House of Actors named after M. Salimzhanov will host a master class "Casting Intensive", which will be held by casting director of international film projects "Kinolift" Elizaveta Shmakova.
The All-Russian Forum "The Time of Cinema" is an educational and communicative platform for young cinematographers and movie lovers, which has been taking place in Kazan since 2015. Initially, the forum was conceived as an educational session, but over the course of three years it has significantly "grew" and expanded its format. In the spring of 2017, at the next forum, pitching took place for the first time and a section on film journalism appeared, and a review of the film market and a new block "Generation P: provocation, promotion and PR" was held at the forum held at the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival. The purpose of the "The Time of Cinema" forum is to create a permanent platform for supporting the debut, low-budget, regional, independent projects in the field of cinema.
