March 31 Kazan will host Regional stage of the All-Russian Choral Festival

The founder of the regional stage in the Republic of Tatarstan:  Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The All-Russian Choral Festival is conducted by the All-Russian Choral Society and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in accordance with the Action Plan for the implementation in 2016-2018 of the State Cultural Policy Strategy for the period until 2030.

Goals and objectives of the festival:

- Preservation and development of national  traditions of choral art;

- Increase of  performing skills of choral groups, sharing creative experience;

- Activation of musical activity, creative potential of choral collectives of Russia;

- Popularization of the best samples of national  and world choral music;

- Solution of urgent problems of spiritual and moral education of youth, ensuring continuity of traditions of vocal and choral art of Russia.

Creative review is conducted in three stages:

The first one is regional. One of them will be held on March 31 in Kazan, on the basis of    "Music school №2", at the address: 420102, Kazan, str. G. Barudi, 25a.

The second stage is district. It is carried out according to the results of the regional stage in all cities - the centers of the federal districts of the Russian Federation from April 1 to June 12, 2018.

The third (final) stage is All-Russian. The best collectives will perform in Moscow in November 2018 following the results of the district stage. In the final stage, the winners will be determined in each nomination.

Participants of the festival:

Professional (federal, regional, municipal cultural and art organizations);

educational (collectives of secondary and higher educational institutions of culture and art, children's music schools and art schools);

Amateur choral collectives.

The jury of the festival:

1. Chairman of the jury: Kutuzova Elena Nikolaevna - Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Head of the Academic Choir of Russian Song "Songs of Russia";

2. Milyausha Amirovna Tamindarova - Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artistic Director of the State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan;

3. Niyaz Rafisovich Garayev - Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief Chorus Master of the State Song and Dance Ensemble, Associate Professor of the Choral Conducting Department of the Kazan State Conservatory   named after  N.G. Zhiganov;

4. Alexandra Samoilova - Associate Professor of the Department of Ethno-Artistic Music Creation and Education of the Kazan State Institute of Culture.

This year, 13 collectives (more than 300 people) from Kazan, Bugulma, Nizhnekamsk, Leninogorsk and other cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan will take part in the competition.
