The winner of the Festival of theaters of small cities of Russia - Almetyevsky Tatar State Drama Theater presented the play "Kibet" in Moscow

The winners of the Festival of Small Russian Town Theaters present their best works in Moscow.

On the eve,  the metropolitan audience saw the play "Kibet" ("The Store")  by  the  Almetyevsky Tatar State Drama Theater, which became a holder   of the Grand Prix of the Festival of theaters of small cities of Russia ".

And today our artists will demonstrate their skills on the Small Stage of the Theater of Nations already as the nominee of the Golden Mask.

The performance "The Kibet" (the "Store") by  the Almetyevsky Tatar State Drama Theater was awarded in four categories: "Small-Formed Performance", "Best Director's Work" (Eduard Shakhov), "Best Actress" (Madina Gainullina, Dilyara Ibatullina), "Best work by  playwright "(Olzhas Zhanaydarov).

The play by  Zhanaydarov is based on real events. At the heart is a story from a criminal chronicle, a story about a store in one of the sleeping districts of Moscow, where the hostess kept her employees who came to work from Central Asia, in the position of powerless slaves.

In the play, only two actresses - Madina Gainullina and Dilyara Ibatullina participate. The director of the production is Eduard Shakhov.
