«Longing for Tukai » at RT National museum

Year 2011 was announced   the Year of Gabdulla Tukai in the Republic. Among jubilee events taking place all over the world, one of the most important measures became opening exhibition titled “I am aspiring for eternity” at the RT National museum.

The exhibition presents to residents and guests of the capital authentic memorable things, photos, poet’s documents and is a completion of  inter-museum project realized with support of RT Ministry of culture, Tatar national – cultural autonomy of St. Petersburg, Authorized representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation,  Moscow department of culture and Regional Tatar national –cultural autonomy of Moscow.

Within a framework of exhibition, during December month, the measures discovering richness of creative heritage of the great Tatar poet will be held at National museum.

 

December 2,  at 14.00, a concert-meeting  «Tukainy sagynu» («Longing for Tukai) will be held. Popular singer, a deserved artist of Russia, a people’s artist of Tatarstan  Emil Zalyaldinov will present the audience his author music-literature program during which the songs on poets verses   and musical works dedicated to G. Tukai  will be sounded.

Poetry and image of G. Tukai  were and still are the source of inspiration for  many composers. The first work connected with memory of poet, - «March of Tukai » by Z. Yarullin  - was created yet before revolution. Among the works of more late period   the romances by  R. Yakhin  «Shygyr» (Poet) and  «Kem beller kaderenne» (Who will   love you ), the  works by  М. Muzzafarov «Tukai istalegena ” (“In memory of Tukai ”) and  “Tukainy sagynu” (“Longing for Tukai”), created on words of poets S. Hakim and G. Zainasheva. These and other works may be heard during concert-meeting .

Attention! Music literature meeting «Monly sazym», which was due to be held within the exhibition  «I am aspiring to eternity…»  scheduled on December   2,  at  14.00, is  postponed for more late date.
