RT Museum of fine arts shows drawings by Robert Falk

November 9, at 16.00 pm, an exhibition of Robert Falk’s drawings opens in RT Museum of fine arts (RT GMII) called «Indiscriminate stenogram of century…», dedicated to 125th anniversary of the artist.
The exhibition has been arranged jointly Moscow club of collectors of fine arts and presents 67 drawings from RT GMII collection and private Moscow collections.
Robert Rafailovich Falk (1886-1958) – a prominent painter of ХХ century whose creativity became an inseparable part of Russian and world’s art, reflecting art quests of his epoch, its contradictions and the highest achievements, having entered history of arts first of all as representative of «Jack of Diamonds», Falk always looked for a special way in art , working out his own art language called to create on canvasses and sheets of papers art reality, devoting the author to philosophic speculations, incarnating spirituality of the world. The drawing accompanied Falk all his long creative life mostly playing an auxiliary role in relation to painting and at the same tome bearing independent art value. The exhibits cover all long creative way of the master from 1900th – apprentice period, until 1950th years – period of maturity and summing up, familiarize with violent «jack of diamond » 1910th, philosophical 1920th , lyrical 1930th ; pass various life impressions and wide geography of the artist: Moscow, Paris, Crimea, Central Asia, Bashkiriya.
