Royal organists of UK to perform concert in Kazan

November 23, the organists of British Queen Elizabeth II James Parsons and James McWinney are going to perform a concert at a S. Siadash Big Concert hall.
The Royal organists will perform the works by great Johann Sebastian Bah, French composer Nicolas de Grigny (1672 – 1703), English composer of romantic direction Edward Elgar (1857 – 1934), Marcel Dupré (1886 – 1971), French organist and composer Jean Ariste Allen (1911 – 1940), modern Scot composer and conductor working in genre of classic music James McMillan and others.
James Parsons is well known all over the world thanks to his international career as concert organist and studio records. His solo concerts are always warmly received by the audience and by right have deserved acknowledgment among critics in all European countries. The compact-disc issued by him and called «Organic magnificence and majesty» has brought him popularity. James Parsons works in Queen’s organic college.
James McWinny - organist of Westminster Abbey. This position he double-jobs with an extensive musical and teacher’s activity. In October of 2006 he recorded for a studio «Naxos» his first solo disc of organic music by S.S.Wesley – «On Willi’s organ».
The concert in Kazan begins at 18.30 in the S.Saidash Big Concert hall. The concert has been arranged within the frameworks of project "English art of the good and peace " with support of RF and RT Ministries of culture and Kazan state conservatory.
