Buinsky State Drama Theater - 100 years

December 2, 2017 at 16.00 hours   a gala evening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar theater in Buinsk at the  CEK "Pyramid" will be held. A significant date the collective will celebrate with friends and colleagues. Representatives of cultural communities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia and the near abroad will gather.

It is worth noting that the first Tatar performance in Buinsk was going to be put back in 1915, but due to the absence of the Tatar censor, it was banned. May 4, 1917 Tatar shakirds  and teachers managed to present the play "Kazang seyahat" ("Journey to Kazan"). A year later, such famous artists as Gulsum and Bari Bulgarsky, Shakir Saminsky, Galiya Kamsky , Sitdik Aydarsky, Zulyayha Bogdanova and others come here from Kazan. In this composition, the troupe worked  for two years, and after that the theater begins to function independently.

The building of the theater has its own history - it is a newly discovered object of cultural heritage "The building of the city men's school, the second half of the 19th century".

Today the Buinsky State Drama Theater is one of the most important cultural centers of the city and the republic. In 2015, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the administration of the Buinsk municipal district, the theatrical decade "Theatrical Bua-2015" was held here. 13 creative collectives took part in it, including from Chuvash Republic, Mordovia, Ulyanovsk region.

From March 12 to 23, 2017, the 1st All-Russian Festival of the Theaters of the Peoples of the Volga and the Urals "Idel-Ural-Bua-space Dialogue" was held on the basis of the Buinsky State Drama Theater.  16 state theatrical collectives took part  in it. The performances of the festival were watched by more than 4000 spectators.

In August 2017 the Buinsky Theater conducted the Theater Laboratory "Buinskaya Taliya". The best comedies were chosen for the laboratory, having both festival and rental potential, experienced filmmakers from Kazan, Moscow, Udmurtia were invited.

Thus, the creative activity of the theater is rich and lively, the number of spectators is growing from year to year. New performances are produced, famous directors are invited. In addition, the troupe conducts active tours, performing both in the regions of the republic and in the Russian regions.
