Farid Bikchantaev has become the laureate of Stanislavsky International Award

The principal director of the Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamal Farid Rafkatovich Bikchantaev became the laureate of the 22nd Stanislavsky International Award "For Contribution to the Development of Russian Theater Art". The winners of the prestigious award this year became the artistic director and general director of the Mariinsky Theater Valery Gergiev,  theatre director of  Evgeny Vakhtangov  Kirill Krok, People's Artist of Russia Alla Demidova and others.

The Stanislavsky International Award has   been established in 1994 by the same name foundation and has since been awarded annually for outstanding contributions to the development of theatrical art. Each laureate receives an honorary badge with the image of the Chekhov gull and the facsimile of Stanislavsky. During the existence of the award, it has already been  received  by more than 180 figures of domestic and foreign theater.

The awards ceremony is preceded by the Stanislavsky Season Festival, which has been held in Moscow since 2004 with the support of the Moscow government and the Moscow Department of Culture. The current review will be held in the Russian capital from November 8 to December 10. The XXII ceremony of the Stanislavsky International Award will be held in 2018 and will be dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the birth of Konstantin Sergeyevich Stanislavsky.
