Tchistopol State Museum-Reserve won in the contest "The Best Souvenir of the Republic of Tatarstan"

The jury members have marked  the birch bark collection "Tchistopol" in nomination "The Souvenir of the Museum". The line  of souvenir products has been  developed for two years and includes 26 items of birch bark with the symbols of the city and the museum-reserve. The series "Tchistopol cats" also appeared in the "Toy Souvenir" nomination.

The competition "The  Tourist Souvenir" is organized and held by the State Treasury "Center for the Development of Folk Arts and Crafts of the Republic of Tatarstan". In 2017, about 900 applications in seven nominations have been  submitted for the competition.  Besides  active participation in the contest of republican enterprises, individual masters and craftsmen of Tatarstan, their works presented masters from Moscow, Astrakhan, Chuvashia, Mari El, Udmurtia and other Russian regions. Summing up took place within the framework of the 9th specialized exhibition "The Art Gallery", which worked in Kazan from November 2 to 6, 2017.
