The opening of the festival took place at the State Concert Hall named after S.Saidashev. Elvira Kamalova, Acting Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artistic Director - Deputy Chairman of the Union of Composers of Russia, Chairman of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Tatarstan, People's Artist of Russia and Tatarstan, Composer Rashid Kalimullin, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Musicians, composer, Deputy Chairman of the State Council On matters of Criticism of Literature and Art of Vietnam Do Hong Kuan took part in a solemn ceremony.
The holder of the Grand award of the International Competition Chamber Orchestra "New Music" Anna Gulshambaraova Honored Artist of Tatarstan, artistic director and chief conductor opened the program of a creative marathon. The orchestra performed works by composers from the cities of Russia - Vologda, Yakutsk, Nalchik, Ufa, Kazan, as well as from Vietnam. The audience was presented with a unique sound of national musical instruments - kurai, kubyz, khomus, Caucasian harmonica. The listeners were able to enjoy the amazing technique of throat singing.
In total, 5 chamber concerts are planned for the festival.
Two of them will be held today (September 28) in the concert hall of the Writers' Union of the Republic of Tatarstan: "Music of the composers of Russia" (15:00) and "Rhythms of Spain" (16:30).
September 29, the day concert "Palette of Peace" will be held in a hall of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Tatarstan (11:30). Evening - is planned at the Museum of Gabdulla Tukaya (the village of Novy Kirlay). The program "Composers of Tatarstan to Children" will be presented to the public.
September 30 in the hall of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Tatarstan a concert "Music of composers of Tatarstan" (14:30)
The festival will end with the Gala concert on September 30 at 17.00 at the State Concert Hall named after S.Saidashev. The State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan, art director and chief conductor - Alexander Sladkovsky, conductor of the concert - guest of the festival, conductor, pianist, violinist and composer Gerasim Voronkov (Spain) will perform before the audience. The orchestra will perform compositions by composers from Australia, Spain, Colombia, Hong Kong and Russia.
Honorary guest of the festival will be the famous composer, president and founder of the Russian Association of electro-acoustic music, four-time laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, winner of five "Nika" prizes and five "Golden Eagle" awards Eduard Artemiev. He wrote music for more than 200 feature films (Russia, the United States, Europe), among them "Solaris", "Stalker", "Odyssey", "Near Circle" and others.
