Nikas Safronov. My Favorites

On September 21, Nikas Safronov's exhibition will open at the National Art Gallery "Hazine".

The exhibition project is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Nikas Safronov is an Honored artist of Russia, an academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, an Honorary member of the Ukrainian Academy of Arts and the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenev.

The main goal of the exhibition project "Favorites" is to acquaint Kazan people and guests of the capital of Tatarstan with different periods of Nikas Safronov's creative work. Genre paintings, lyrical landscapes, still lifes and portraits presented at the exhibition most fully reflect the world view and artistic understanding of reality by the artist.

Creativity of the artist is based on the best traditions of realistic art. After long professional and general cultural studies, Nikas summarizes his ideas and creates his own unique direction "Dream Vision", technically based on classical painting and actively using not only imagination and intuition, but subconscious and unconscious sensations.

Nikas' popularity was greatly enhanced by a series of psychological portraits of contemporaries, Russian and foreign stars of politics and culture: Sophia Loren, Montserrat Caballe, Alain Delon and others.

The exhibition in "Hazine", which will feature more than a hundred works,  last until November 5, 2017. Nikas Safronov plans to hold creative meetings with admirers of fine arts and master classes.
