September 15 marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of one of the founders of the Tatar theater - the great playwright, actor and director Karim Tinchurin

In honor of this significant event, the Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater named after K. Tinchurin, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, prepared a number of events.

September 15 at 10.00 on the Arkhangelsk cemetery in Kazan  laying flowers at the burial site of Karim Tinchurin will be held. Representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the theater and literary community of the republic are expected to attend the event.

On the same day at 18.00 in the foyer of the Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater named after K. Tinchurin the grand opening of the bust of Karim Tinchurin will take place. The author of the bust is a sculptor, painter, member of the Union of Artists of Russia Rustam Gabbasov.

At 18.30 the premiere of the play "The Last Play" will take place on the autobiographical novel "Thirty-Three Days" - the last work by  Karim Tinchurin. The author of the dramatization of the drama was Ilgam Ghali. The director of the performance is Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Rashid Zagidullin. The play will be staged for the first time in the history of the Tatar theater.
