Airat Sibagatullin: "More than 900 events in honor of Republic Day are planned in Tatarstan"

RT Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin took part in a press conference at  the IA "Tatar-inform" dedicated to preparations for  festive events in honor of the Day of Republic.

In honor of the  Republic’s  Day, over 900 events are planned to be held throughout Tatarstan. More than 120 of them will be held in parks and squares, and in 15 municipalities film shows will be organized. This was told by RT Minister of Culture Ayrat Sibagatullin.

According to the minister, a festive program will cover all the cities and regions of Tatarstan, and the first exhibitions dedicated to the Republic Day will open today.

"More than 900 cultural events are planned in  municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, more than 120 of them will be held in parks and squares. Already today in each municipality there will be opened the exhibition "Tatarstan is my native land", "My republic is my Tatarstan", "History of the native republic". Film shows are planned in 15 municipalities of Tatarstan. On August 29, the Menselinsky Victory Park will host the quest "Remember All" on the pages of the history of the early twentieth century. August 30 in Leninogorsk, in the park "Jubilee", will be a concert of children's creative teams and Houses of culture "We are together", in Laishev, in Gorky Park, a concert "On the Tatarstan wave" will take place, and in Nizhnekamsk this day at the park "Family" a concert and entertainment program "I Love You, My Tatarstan" will be presented. Various events will take place in all municipal districts, "the minister  explained.

"In addition, in the days of the celebration of the Republic Day and the City Day after major repairs and construction 11 cultural facilities will be opened. We have cultural and mass events of various types - concerts, theatrical, festival, commemorative and memorial, " A.  Sibagatullin said.

Also, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan informed that today the opening of the VI International Festival of Wind Orchestras "Fanfares of Kazan" will take place on the territory of the Kazan Kremlin. "This year, in addition to collectives representing the National Guard of the Russian Federation, who annually take part in the festival, a meeting with new participants is to be held. These are three orchestras of the Central Military District of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ulyanovsk State Orchestra "Derzhava", the variety-brass band "Elmet", the Nizhny Novgorod ensemble of drummers. Among the foreign guests there is an exemplary orchestra of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A separate gift will be the performance by  the orchestra of the Istanbul ensemble of Turkish historical music, which has a long and glorious history, "he said.
