The film "Bird" opens the IX Kazan International Festival of Amateur Youth and Children's Cinema

From September 4 to 6, the IX Kazan International Festival of Amateur Youth and Children's Cinema will be held. September 4, at 12.00,   the   Kazan State Institute of Culture will host screening of the film-festival opening "Bird"   by  Kseniya Baskakova. This is the debut work by the young director. The soundtrack to the film "Bird"  "We as fluttering birds," sang a group  "Picnic."

The film is about the friendship of comrades in misfortune - a teenage girl Katie and the infamous rock musician Oleg Ptitsyn made on the basis of film concern "Lenfilm". Starring Ivan Okhlobystin. The film has a rich festival's fate in Russia (winner of the festival "Window to Europe", "Iris", "Smile, Russia", "Stalker", "Home" in 2016) and the world (Vittorio Veneto Film Festival, 2017; Indian Cine Film Festival, 2016).
