Ex-libris by Georgy Sergeyev

Tomorrow, August 18, an exhibition "Ex-libris by  Georgy Sergeyev" will open at the Exhibition Hall of the Elabuga State Museum-Reserve.

Georgy Sergeyev is a recognized master of book graphics and bookplates, participant of many international book fairs. His works are presented in museum collections, as well as in collections of many collectors - art lovers of miniature graphics and ex-libris of Russia, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Denmark, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Czechia.

The art of the ex-libris became the dominant of the creative search of Georgy Sergeyev. All his works are distinguished by subtle technical skills, artistic expressiveness and richness.

Painter and graphic artist Georgy Sergeyev is a participant of the Elabuga International Triennale of 2015 Ex-libris, the Elabuga biennale of a unique drawing and the XII International Art Symposium on Contemporary Art of 2017.

The exposition presented at the Exhibition hall of the YSMR consists of 108 ex-libris, donated by the artist to the museum-reserve.

The exhibition will run until September 3.
