On August 5 and 6, 2017, participants of the military historical movement of Tatarstan and other regions of the Russian Federation will reconstruct the battles of two Patriotic wars.
In Kazan for the second time an Interregional military historical festival "East-West: Russian Patriotic Wars", organized by the famous club "Vityaz" (head V.V. Khabarov) will take place. The festival will present the work of the Tatarstan branch of the military-historical society on the implementation of the patriotic education program.
The program on August 5 will be devoted to the epoch of the Patriotic War of 1812. The main event of this day will be reconstruction of episodes of military operations of the Napoleonic wars. Everyone will be able to see the soldier's bivouac, where episodes of marching life of the beginning of the XIX century will be played, as well as get acquainted with the traditions of duels. In the building of the museum will be held a master class on dancing, a ball is to given, a concert of romances will be held and a display of historical costumes will take place.
The program on August 6 will be devoted to the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The brass band will create the atmosphere of the pre-war forties. For visitors this day will be a stylish photo salon, there will be a fashion show of those years, a concert of military songs will be held and a master class on bayonet fighting will be held. The culmination of the program will be the reconstruction of episodes of hostilities, which will be presented by members of military historical clubs, dressed in precise replicas of uniforms and equipment of various arms of Red Army and Wehrmacht troops.
In the halls of the museum these days there will be exhibitions devoted to the Patriotic Wars of Russia: "The Thunder of the Twelfth Year", "The Great Unknown War".
