Children's adolescent and youth collectives of Tatarstan are invited to qualifying stage of the Championship of Russia in folk dances

The Cup of the Privolzhsky Federal District within the framework of the Championship will be held on November 18 in Nizhny Novgorod city.

The Russian Folk Dance Championship is an annual competition of choreographic collectives, designed to identify Champions of Russia in folk dance in three age categories: children, adolescent  and youth, and also in the nomination "People's Stylization". The championship consists of eight Cups of federal districts and an additional qualifying stage - Open Cup in Kazan.

The founder of the creative review is an autonomous non-profit organization "Creative Union" Salute Talents. " The artistic director of the Championship from 2016 is the legend of the famous State Academic Choreographic Ensemble "Birch", People's Artist of the USSR, Professor Mira Mikhailovna Koltsova.

The Cup of the Privolzhsky Federal District is the qualifying stage of the Russian Championships in Folk Dance. Any amateur choreographic team of the Volga region can take part in it. Within its framework, round tables will be held for teachers on the basis of reports  and practical master classes for participants. In addition, the results of the performances will be included in a uniform rating of the choreographic collectives.

The winners of the qualifying stage will receive the Cup of the Privolzhsky Federal District and an invitation to the Final Stage of the Russian Folk Dance Championship, which will be held in December 2018 in Moscow.

The jury will include folk and honored artists of Russia, eminent cultural figures and professional choreographers.
