Receiving applications for the festival-competition "Music of the Earth" keeps going

All-Russian festival - competition "Music of the Earth" will unite on one stage talented performers of academic and ethnic music from different regions of the country. The author of the idea and the artistic director of the creative review is the Honored Artist of Russia, a pianist Boris Berezovsky.

Professional and amateur creative groups, as well as individual performers (folklore, vocal, instrumental genres) from the regions of the Russian Federation, including native folk culture folk music lovers who are fans of folk art, are invited to participate in the contest program.

Until September 15, 2017, they need to fill out the participant's application (Appendix No. 1) on the official festival website (www.muzikazemli.ru) and download the video clip with their presentation (creative program) in mp4 format with the internal codec H264.

When choosing finalists, the opinion of Internet users will be considered, who voted on the official website of the Festival for the artist they liked or the collective. One participant, having received the largest number of votes, will be included in the finalists of the competition.

The final list of finalists will be determined and published on the official website of the festival on October 1, 2017. They will be sent an official invitation to participate in the III stage of the Festival, which will be held from    November 1 to 3.

According to the results of the qualifying concerts the winners of the 5 nominations will be determined by the decision of the Expert Jury.

A special nomination will be established jointly with the Radio Russia Group, whose winner will have the opportunity to represent Russia at the International Folk Festival "Euroradio" in 2018 - one of the most important events of the European Broadcasting Union, held annually since 1980 in different countries of Europe.

Within the framework of the qualifying concerts, there will be performances and master classes with the participation of special guests of the Festival.

In the final gala concert, November 4, 2017 on the Day of National Unity of Russia, the brightest finalist groups  as well as the guests of the Festival - professional groups of classical and folk music, laureates of the Festival 2015-2016  will take part.
