In the town of Dubrovno, the Vitebsk region of the Republic of Belarus, a monument to the Tatar composer Farid Yarullin, who died here in October 1943, fighting with the fascists, has been opened. The bust was installed on the territory of the Dubrovno Children's Art School, also named after a prominent Tatar composer.
The delegation from Tatarstan was headed by RT Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin. The ceremonial event was also attended by the chairman of the International Public Association "Tatar-Bashkir Heritage" Chishma "E.A. Levshich, chairman of the Dubrovno Regional Executive Committee O.M. Lyndin, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Dubrovno, E.S. Batura and local people.
The ceremony continued with a festive concert of amateur art groups of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Belarus. Within the framework of this creative meeting, a friendship and cooperation agreement was signed between Dubrovno and Mamadysh.
After the delegation from Tatarstan visited the memorial complex "Rylenki", where the laying of wreaths to the Eternal Flame and flowers to the tomb of Farid Yarullin took place. The ceremony ended with a memorable meeting.
