The Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan performed at the Platonov Festival in Voronezh

The State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan, under the direction of Milyausha Tamindarova, took part in the 7th International Platonov Festival of Arts, which was held in Voronezh from 2 to 14 June. The collective from Tatarstan performed at the closing of the festival, as part of the combined choir performing the famous oratorial work "Armed man" ("The Mass of Peace") of the British composer Karl Jenkins - a large-scale antiwar war.

The festival, named after the outstanding prose writer of the 20th century, Andrei Platonov, has been held in his homeland since 2011. The State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Lipetsk Chamber Choir, the Tambov Chamber Choir, the Male Choir of the Voronezh Concert Hall "Russian Format", the Voronezh Opera and Ballet Theater, the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Voronezh Concert Hall (art director and chief conductor - Yuri Androsov). The conductor was Jean Derouaye (France).
