The theatrical marathon  has  ended with the performance "Werewolf" of the Estonian Theater R.A.A.A.M. (Tallinn).

Before it, the First deputy minister of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elvira Kamalova, addressed the participants of Nauruz. "I think that it is not by chance that such a multifaceted theatrical palette and such an international festival is held in Kazan. Because we all know that Kazan, Tatarstan is a territory of  the  good, peace and incredible respect for the national culture, it is a poly-confessional city. Therefore it is correct that the International Theater Festival of Turkic Nations "Nauruz" is held in Kazan, "noted Elvira Kamalova.

She recalled that the festival is held with a  huge support and under the patronage of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. "He is very fond of the theater, constantly watching the theatrical innovations of the national Tatar and Russian theaters. We have a lot of other interesting theaters. It was Tatarstan that became the first region in Russia where the law on theatrical business was adopted, "she said.

R.A.A.A.M. is a project theater in which guest actors play. Mart Meos, who is engaged in the production of the theater, noted during the afternoon at a press conference that this is a common practice for them. According to him, "Werewolf" is a summer play, the premiere of which took place in an old boiler room, at a factory near the sea, near Tallinn.

On the final day of the festival performances of theaters from Chuvashia, Tyva, Tatarstan, Estonia were played, and a round table with critics was held.

The fifth festival day began at the puppet theater "Ekiyat" with the fairy tale of Yefim Nikitin "Sarpike" (Chuvash State Puppet Theater). The national plot, according to the director of the production of Yuri Filippov, teaches that for true love, good and happiness must be fought.

The Tuvan Music and Drama Theater played the play Cranes on the play of the young playwright Salim Mongush, which was written specifically for the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Naberezhnye Chelny State Tatar Drama Theater presented at the festival a play based on Musta Karim's play "The Night of the Lunar Eclipse."

Summing up the results of the festival was held at a round table with the participation of theater critics. According to Andrei Pronin (St. Petersburg), the festival showed strong work. "The panorama of the Yakut theater, which was presented at the" Nauruz ", once again proved to us that the Yakut theater is a very bright phenomenon," the critic noted.

Speaking about the phenomenon of director Sergei Potapov, who was represented at the festival not only in the Yakut theater, but also in performances in theaters of Khakassia, Kazakhstan, Estonia, stated that "we are dealing with an artist whose skills have already transcended the Yakut nation and beyond Turkic area ".

Theatrical critic from Moscow Alena Karas noted that "Nauruz" is "a world-class festival, and it's no coincidence that there are foreign guests and representatives of other theatrical cultures."

"The days spent on Nauruz are the best pages of my life," said Moscow theater critic Alexander Vyslov. "A wonderful festival atmosphere, a democratic spirit, a spirit of theatrical brotherhood."

According to Alexander, the main purpose of the festival is the penetration of cultures, which enriches directors and artists and allows them to open their doors to directors of other cultures.

Critic from Perm Tatiana Tikhonovets admitted that she was shocked by the level of the festival. "It was good that the festival is a collection of Turkic peoples," the speaker said. In her speech, she noted the historical performances presented at the festival.

The program director of the festival Niyaz Iglamov, addressing the heads of the theaters, said that today is the age of curators of theatrical art and asked to pay attention to print programs of performances that allow "not robbing actors" when writing materials about the production.
