The Kazan chamber orchestra La Primavera under direction of Rustem Abyazov these days is giving a series of charitable concerts timed to the International Children's Protection Day. On Friday, June 2, musicians performed at the Winter Garden of the Kazan Hospice.
The concert was attended by patients from children's and adult departments, doctors and volunteers. In the program - compositions by Mozart, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Khachaturian, Piazzolla, Anderson, as well as music from famous cartoons and movies. Each conductor's performance was preceded by an interesting story and a small quiz, in which listeners were happy to participate.
"This is a special concert for us. Before its beginning I read the commandments of the hospice: they contain very correct truths. I have tears in my eyes, looking at how children and adults in wheelchairs are brought to our concert today. I hope that our performance will help them. After all, music helps everywhere and everyone. This is a universal medicine, "- shared the art director and chief conductor of the orchestra Rustem Abiazov.
The Kazan Chamber Orchestra La Primavera is a a long-time partner of the Angela Vavilova’s Foundation. The musicians gave several charity concerts in support of the First Children's Hospice, and now they are going to help the Foundation to open a new hospice department in Kazan.
