In the villages of Tatarstan, a cultural marathon has started

25 May 2017, Thursday

A big two-hour concert of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan in the village culture house of the Leskhoz, the  village of the Sabinsky district  has started a new season of the traditional Republican cultural marathon.

The project is organized by the Foundation for the Support of Cultural Development under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2014. Concerts of the cultural marathon take place in the rural houses of culture, which were built or renovated in the framework of the "special program" of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. For example, RCH   of the village Leskhoz today has a concert hall equipped with light and sound equipment, make-up rooms and dressing rooms. According to the original design, it was built in 1976 on the initiative of the head of the Sabinsky forestry enterprise Nurgali Minnikhanov.

The concert was opened by the ensemble's soloist, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan  Ramil Minnegaliyev. He noted that GAPi  RT is always very happy to perform in villages  as these concerts have their own special atmosphere. "Most of our artists are from remote places. We ourselves grew up on folk songs, which are now performed on stage - in our native villages they were sung by our  grandmothers and mothers. We sing about the soul of our people and therefore a rural spectator always waits for us to meet, "the artist said.

At the concert the artists of the State  Ensemble of Song and Dance performed songs from the repertoire of famous soloists of the ensemble of the middle of the last century - Nafisa Vasilova, Tahir Yakupov and Muzip Sadykov, as well as Tatar folk songs of Nizhny Novgorod Tatars and Kryashens. The audience saw dances and choreographic compositions from the "Golden Fund" of the collective and the foreign tour program was  performed by well-known soloists of the ensemble  Almaz Safin, Aidar and Aliya Mukhamatgalievs, Azat Galimullin, Dilyara Palatova and others. Each ensemble item  ended with a standing ovation.

At the end of the concert the artists were thanked by executive director of the Foundation for Support of Cultural Development under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Nuria Hashimova. She said that the performances of the State Ensemble in the framework of the cultural marathon will continue in other regions of the republic. She cited the words of the President of the Republic, noting that "there should always be a holiday in rural houses of culture, and  inhabitants of our villages,  village workers should see the best achievements of the cultural sector, as well as the residents  of large cities."
