The public of the republic suffered an irreparable loss

May 10, 2017, 77 years old, died bayan player, composer, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Artist of the TASSR, Hans Hamitovich Saifullin.

G.Kh.Saifullin was born on February 26, 1941 in a working village of the Bavlinsky district of the Tatarstan. Father Hamit Sayfullin died in 1943 at the front at Stalingrad. Mother Nurikamal Saifullina, who worked as  head of the village club, introduced Hans and his brother Ferdinand to playing  harmonic.

In 1954 Hans Saifullin enrolled in the music school that had just opened in Bavly, at the end of which in 1958 he created his first songs "Gullyrem" and "Ul kaityr" for verses by Magsum Latifullin.

Soon, the glory of the talented bayan player spread to Kazan. In 1961, Hans Sayfullin was invited to the Tatar State Philharmonic named after G. Tukai as an bayanist, where he worked until 1987.

On the first tour of the Urals and Siberia Hans Saifullin went with a  brigade of Usman Almeev. Later, the bayanist collaborated with such well-known singers as Farida Kudasheva, Zifa Basyrova, Tagir Yakupov, Ideal Ishbulyakov, Ilham Shakirov, Emil Zalyaletdinov and many others. He was one of the most touring artists, performed in Mongolia, Tunisia, Italy, Malta, Turkey, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria.

In 1976, in Leningrad, together with Tagir Yakupov Hans Saifullin recorded his first record. G.Kh. Sayfullin acquired wide recognition as a composer due to the songs "Tugan avylym uramy", "Akbuz atem", "Yuege urman" (s.G.Zainasheva), "Milash" ( words by M.Galiyev), "Sin tald" ber Gene "(words by R.Akhmetzyanova)," Karap kalam koshlar artynnan"," Kurusem kilgun ide "(words by Sh.Zigangirova)," Bokhet dagasy "(words by I.Husnutdinova). In total,  G.Sayfullin's works include more than 400 works - songs and instrumental pieces.

In 1976 G.H. Sayfullin was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Tatar ASSR, in 2004 - People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The family of Hans Saifullin is known in the music community. Wife - Shamsinur Nigmatzyanova - dancer, son Albert - pianist.

"The bright memory of a talented musician, bayanist, composer will always remain in our hearts," says the obituary signed by Culture Minister Airat Sibagatullin,  mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin,  head of the Bavlinsky municipal district Ramil Gatiyatullin,  director of the Tatar State Philharmonic Kadim Nurullin.

The civil funeral service will be held at the Tatar State Philharmonic named after G.Tukai on May 12 at 10.00.
