For 27 years, the Kazan Chamber Orchestra La Primavera has collected a large music library, which consists of famous scores and completely original, specially created for the concerts of the orchestra. Now there are more than 500 such orchestrations in the orchestra's archive.
"We thought it would be wrong if these scores serve only us and decided to open access to our unique music collection for everyone," says the artistic director and chief conductor of the orchestra, Rustem Abiazov.
A sigificant part of the arrangements were made by the maestro himself.
"All the famous compositions for chamber orchestras that exist in the world, we have long been outplayed. Such music is much less than for large symphony orchestras. I really wanted to expand our repertoire. Me really helped my second compositional education, "Abyazov said.
The virtual library will be open 24 hours a day on the website of the orchestra. Its content will be constantly updated. Here you will find well-known masterpieces of world music, contemporary music and music of Tatar composers.
"By placing notes of our wonderful composers, we hope that they will be interested not only for Russian, Tatarstan musicians, but also colleagues abroad. After all, the Internet is blurring the boundaries, "R. Abyazov noted.
La Primavera orchestra music library is free of charge. In the orchestra they say that they will be grateful to their colleagues if, when using the notes, they will not forget to indicate the authorship of the orchestration.
