The National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan starts "Gift Days"

From April 1 to  5, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan invites Kazan citizens to take part in a traditional charity event dedicated to the Museum's birthday.

According to the organizers, the "Gift Days" is a unique opportunity to help preserve the cultural heritage, go down in history and write your name in the Honor Book of donors of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.

2017 is rich in jubilee dates. One of the most significant is the 100th anniversary of the Great Russian Revolution. Its result was the creation of national republics, including the Tatar one. In 2020, Tatarstan will celebrate the 100th anniversary of this event. Perhaps, the items you passed  will find their place in  expositions devoted to these dates.

The museum will gratefully receive:

- photographs, documents, posters about revolutionary events, including the creation and history of the TASSR;

- items of everyday life of the XIX - first half of the 20th centuries, military clothing, uniforms, signs of the period of the First World War and the Civil War;

- documents, photographs, objects of everyday life, giving an idea of ​​the history of the White movement in Russia;

- personal belongings, photographs and documents of prominent figures of science and culture of our republic, book editions of early eras and modern book publishing houses.

- items reflecting the world of childhood of the pre-revolutionary and Soviet periods: clothes, toys and books, objects of children's interiors, school uniforms.

 The year 2017 is declared the Year of Ecology and Specially Protected Natural Territories in Russia, in connection with which the museum will also be happy to take photos of the gardens, parks of the republic and materials on the environmental movement.

The most interesting gifts will be presented on April 5 at the exhibition and marked in the following nominations: "The most ancient" - the object, dating from the earliest period; "Subject-legend" - the subject with the most interesting history; "Rarity" - the most unique thing; "The subject-memorial" - a memorial subject, connected with the life and work of the outstanding people of Tatarstan and Russia.

The action is held at the National Museum and its structural subdivisions: the Museum of E.A.Boratynsky, the Museum-Memorial of the Great Patriotic War, the Museum of K.Nasyri, the Museum-Apartment M.Jalil, the Museum of the composer N. Zhiganov, the Literary-Memorial Museum of  A.M. Gorky, the House-Museum of VI Lenin, the Museum of Y. Kupala in the village. Pechischi, the Museum of A.M. Gorky in the village. Krasnovidovo.

Donors need to have a passport with them, the press service of the RT  NM reported.

Summing up and awarding will take place on April 5 at 14.00  at  the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.
