Today in Kazan, the winners of the award "Tantana" to be announced

Today on  the International Day of Theater, in Kazan, the ceremony of awarding the Theater Award of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan "Tantana" ("Triumph") – 2017 to be announced.

Almost all the theaters of the republic represent more than forty applicants for the main theater award of the year. In total, 12 nominations were announced, one of them - "Best Performance for Children" is presented for the first time. The main nomination - "The Event of the Year" is now claimed by the opera performance "Queen of Spades" at the Theater  after  M. Jalil, a new production of "Without Sails" by K. Tinchurin at  the theater after  G. Kamal, the recent loud premiere of the Kazan TYuZ "From the depths ..." ("The Artist Vincent Van Gogh") and the performance of the Naberezhnye Chelny Puppet Theater "Sak-Sok".

The solemn ceremony will take place on the Bolshoi stage of the Tatar State Academic Theater  after  G. Kamal on March 27, at 18:00.
