March 27 in Kazan will be held regional (qualifying) stage of the All-Russian Choral Festival

Festival-competition of professional and amateur choral groups, which is held on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Choral Society, will be held in three stages - regional, district and all-Russian. The auditions will be held at the Children's Music School No. 2 in Kazan (Barudi Street, 25a). The beginning at 11.00.

The goal of the festival is to increase the musical activity and creative potential of amateur choirs in Russia, including student choirs of non-core universities.

The first All-Russian choral festival in the history of the new Russia was held in 2014-2015. And was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The festival was attended by about 60 thousand people, more than 2,000 choral groups, including professional and amateur choirs of various age categories from children to adults. Activities of this magnitude have not been conducted in the country for the past 30 years. The festival, which preserves and develops the traditions of choral art, was decided to be held annually.

Participation in the regional stage in Kazan will take 19 teams - a choral chapel "Renaissance" of Kazan State Energy University (Kazan), a folk chorus of veterans of war and labor "Polet" of the Palace of Culture. after Lenin (Kazan), the veterans' chorus "Nadezhda" of the trade union of JSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" (Nizhnekamsk), folk ensembles "Kalinushka" (Aznakayevo) and "Native melodies" of the Public Organization of Veterans (Kazan), " Spilica "and" Valdochi "(House of Engineering, Bugulma), the combined chorus of the folk ensemble of the Chuvash song" Merchen "(House of Engineering, Bugulma) and folklore ensemble" Shuzem "(Naratlinsky DK, Bugulma district); Musical educational institutions of Kazan - choir of the Children's Music School № 13 "Allegro", Children's Music School № 13 "Concertino", Children's Music School № 15 "Inspiration", Children's Music School № 10 "Confetti", Children's Music School № 11, Children's Music School 19 "Motus vox", the choral collective "Campanella" of the Children's Music School No. 20, Piccolini (Music School No. 4), the concert chorus "Nauruz" (DMHH No. 16 / School No. 9), the choir "Bel canto" (MBU DO DShI "Constellation", Nizhnekamsk).

The jury will be composed of leading specialists in the field of choral and folkloric singing culture: Head of the State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Milyausha Tamindarova, Principal Chorus Master of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Niyaz Garaev, Associate Professor of the Choral Conducting Department of the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov, Svetlana Ustyugova.

The chairman of the jury is a member of the Presidium of the All-Russian Choral Society, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Instrumental Art, Conducting and Musicology of the Faculty of Culture and Art of Ulyanovsk State University Larissa Filianina.

The All-Russian Choral Festival 2017 will be held from March to November in all regions of the republic. The first (qualifying) stage will be held from March 1 to April 30, 2017 in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation; Winners of the regional stage will compete for the title of the best in their federal districts (the district stage will be held from May 1 to September 30, 2017); The finalists will be invited to participate in the all-Russian stage, which will be held in November in Moscow.
