The meeting of the Board of the Association of Museums of Tatarstan will take place in Kazan

On March 14, a regular  meeting of the Association of Museums of Tatarstan, a voluntary association of museum institutions and museum workers of the republic, will be held.

The association has established itself as a major inter-museum project, which  gained a wide popularity not only in our republic, but also abroad. Participation in the organization and holding of the International Museum Forum was  held in Kazan in 2015, the annual action "Museum Spring of Tatarstan", numerous competitions testify to close interaction of the museum community within the Association.

The board meeting will consider issues related to the organization and holding of the general meeting of the Association and  annual action "Museum Spring of Tatarstan-2017". Members of the board will also be presented with the newly created website of the association.

The meeting will be held in the recently opened after the restoration at the Literary and Memorial Museum after  A.M. Gorky - a branch of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. The members of the board, among whom the leaders of the leading museums of Tatarstan, will get acquainted with the new exposition devoted to the life and work of A.M. Gorky and F.I. Shaliapin.
