For reference: In the United States, the foundation of the Diaspora was founded by the Tatars, who had emigrated from Europe and Asian countries at the end of the Second World War. American Tatars Association in the United States was founded on the basis of US Tatar society that emerged in the 1950s in New York. The Association of American Tatars specializes in a cultural direction (after the war and in 1960-70-ies there was a lot of famous Tatar musicians, scientists, and other players.). In addition, on the west coast of the United States there is the American Turkish-Tatar Association (ATTA), which is also engaged in cultural and educational activities). Representatives of the Association celebrate annually the birth of the great poet of the Tatar people Gabdulla Tukai, Muslim holidays, spend Sabantui and organize concerts.
