"Heirs of Almandar" will gather in Kazan

February 16-17, 2017,  the  II International Festival of Theatre Art named Shaukat Biktimirov "Almyandar varislary" ( "Heirs of  Almandar") will gather  at the Kazan State Institute of Culture. It is  organized with the assistance of the Cultural Development Support Fund under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatar State Academic Theater   after   G. Kamal, Kazan State Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat", the Union of Writers of Tatarstan, Tatar State Drama and Comedy   after  K.Tinchurin, Kazan Academic Russian Drama Theatre  after  V.Kachalov, Kazan Theatre of Young Spectator, Tatar  State Theatre of Young Spectator  after  G.Kariev and    Sabinsky municipal district of RT.

The show is dedicated to the memory of the talented  Tatar actor Shaukat  Biktimirov and aims to support children's theater groups and development of their creative potential.

The presentations will be judged on four nominations: drama theater, mime,  gesture theater, puppet theater and artistic expression.

The jury consists of prominent figures of culture and art of Tatarstan.  Head of the jury - People's Artist of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honored Artist of Russia, actor of  TSAT  after  Kamal  Ildar Khairullin.

As part of the show  master classes in acting, puppetry skills, directing, stage speech and stage movement with the issuance of certificates of team leader will be organized.

Winners will be awarded with laureate  diplomas and valuable prizes.

This year, applications  have been  received from regions of Russia,  CIS and foreign countries.
